The number of coronavirus cases in Alabama grew to 13,766 since yesterday, an increase of 348 cases.

The Alabama Department of Public Health’s May 23 10 a.m. number shows 541 COVID-19 deaths in the state, an increase of 8 since yesterday.

Jefferson, Mobile and Montgomery counties combined for 174 of all new cases, roughly 50 percent of the increase.
